 The Moorpool Players are recognised as one of Birmingham's leading Amateur Theatre Companies and are based at The Moorpool Hall in Harborne. The Silver Jubilee celebrations of 1977 led to the formation of the Harborne Tenants Residents' Association out of which grew the idea of re-introducing amateur theatre to the stage of The Moorpool Hall after a gap of over fifty years.
